Pastor Todd has served as the senior pastor of FBCM since November 2017. Todd was born in Athens, Ga but considers Rome, Ga his home. He was called to full-time vocational ministry at the age of 22 after enduring a series of personal tragedies from the age of 17 until he was 21. Todd graduated from Rome High School in 1996. He holds a B.A. from Shorter University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Todd has been married to Jennifer since August of 2004 and they have 5 children. Jennifer, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jonathan, Phoebe, and Judah are a huge part of Todd’s life and he enjoys any time he gets to spend with them. Proverbs 18:22 reads, “He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.” Psalm 127:3 reads, “Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”

Todd considers his life blessed beyond measure. His call to ministry comes from Ephesians 4:11-16. Todd loves sports especially college football, baseball and golf, he enjoys hunting and fishing, he is an avid snow skier, and just about any activity he can participate in with his family. Todd really enjoys preaching and teaching God’s word, but what he enjoys the most, is seeing people get connected with Jesus Christ through repentance and faith. His life’s passion is to disciple them into mature Christians. His prayer is that every attender of FBCM would be involved in making disciples for Christ.
