Children’s Ministry
Our director of children and preschoolers is Mrs Sunny Veal. Mrs Sunny is a long-time member of FBC Moreland and brings to the children’s ministry a wealth of knowledge. She loves children and has been on staff at Moreland Elementary for many years. We are so excited to have Mrs Sunny leading this growing ministry.
The children’s ministry encompasses our Truth Trackers program on Wednesdays, children’s church on Sundays and vacation bible school. The children’s ministry ages are from 3 years of age to the 5th grade. The children are always well supervised and anyone who works with the children has to pass a background check.

Music Ministry
Our Minister of Music is Derrec Oliver. Our music ministry is a wonderful way to get involved at FBCM. We love to praise God through music and singing! Derrec leads our choir for our annual Easter and Christmas cantata’s as well as our children’s choir. We have an audio/video ministry at FBCM as well. We invite and welcome our members to get plugged in to help serve if they feel this is where the Lord has gifted them. This ministry is lead by Mr. Larry Mills.

Men’s Ministry
Being a man in today’s culture is tough. Being a Godly man is Very tough. At FBC Moreland we believe we are called to equip men to be Godly examples who lead at home, at work, at church, and in our community. We believe as men lead, the family is strengthened, the church is strengthened, and the culture is changed.
Using 2 Timothy 2:2 is a guide, men at FBC Moreland challenge other men to lead and to grow in the relationship with Christ. This process is called discipleship. Discipleship is God’s way to bring about change in our church, in our community and ultimately in our world!
We are currently looking to start new men’s discipleship groups. If you are interested in being in one of these groups, please contact our pastor here.
We look forward to connecting with you soon!

Student Ministry
The student ministry consists of youth ranging from the 6th grade to 12th grade. They meet on Sundays at 9:15 AM in the youth room located on our Friendship Hall. We also have a gathering on Wednesday nights at 6:30 PM in the same room. The purpose of our student ministry is the following…
FBCM Student Ministry exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are grounded in the word of God, who seek to make disciples.

Women’s Ministry
The women’s ministry is lead by Denise Marsh. Denise brings a blend of fun and fellowship along with a good dose of serious study to the ministry. During the year you can look forward to simulcasts from popular Christian women speakers, in-depth Bible studies every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. and one to two women’s retreats.
On Wednesday evenings, we study sections of the bible that are pertinent to women and the issues they face in today’s world. If you are looking for intimate relationships with other women just like you, this is the ministry for you.

W.O.M. Ministry
Women On Mission (W.O.M.) is lead by Mrs. Angela Yarbrough. As a woman on mission, you can expect multiple meetings (which are disguised as luncheons and teas) throughout the year. These meetings are geared toward equipping ladies to make disciples of all nations.
The Southern Baptist Convention (FBC Moreland’s denominational affiliate) is the largest missionary sending agency in the world. Women On Mission helps FBC Moreland learn more about the mission field and how we can support our many missionaries. W.O.M. keeps our faith family informed about various prayer and financial needs of the missionaries we support.
Women on Mission typically meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 11 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
“I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do this for the sake of the Gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” 1 Corinthians 9:22b-23
