Plan Your Visit

We are so excited you’re considering a visit to FBC Moreland this weekend! Let us help you plan your visit…

Visitors to FBC Moreland have told us we are the friendliest church in town. We love that and work hard to make it true. We would be honored to welcome you to FBC Moreland this coming weekend. We also know, nobody really wants to go to a place where they do not know anyone. We want to help you with that. If you would like to have someone meet you outside FBC Moreland and show you around, please email our Associate Pastor of Next Generation, Pastor Harris Veal harris@fbcmoreland.org . We will gladly set up a meeting with you so you feel as welcomed as possible during your visit.

If you would like to just slide in and visit with us, no problem. It is our pleasure to have you come join us as we worship the Lord together this Sunday.

Where should I park?

We are located at 2930 S. Hwy 29 in Moreland Ga. 30259. (If you click on this address with your phone, it should link to your gps to guide you right to us). Once you get to FBCM, park anywhere you’d like. We’ll be worshipping in the white sanctuary with the steeple on top. Come in the front door and you walk right into the sanctuary.

What’s the schedule?

FBC Moreland has several gathering times. We meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15 AM for various small group bible studies. 10:30 AM for Sunday morning worship in the sanctuary. We have a midweek discipleship time on Wednesday nights beginning with dinner at 5:30 PM. Discipleship classes/bible study begin at 6:15 PM in various locations. Most of our midweek discipleship activities take place in our fellowship hall behind the sanctuary.

Where do my children go?

If you arrive at 9:15 AM for small group bible study, your children will be checked in in the Fellowship Hall by our amazing team of children’s ministry volunteers. Once checked in, they will be lead to one of our children’s classes. They will be brought to the sanctuary after bible study where they can meet you.

If you are arriving for our 10:30 AM worship service, bring your children into the sanctuary with you. We love having children worship with us. As the pastor begins his sermon, he will dismiss the children to go to children’s church. We have wonderful volunteers who will teach them an age appropriate Bible story in our Fellowship Hall. You can then pick your child up from the Fellowship Hall at the end of the service.

All of our volunteers undergo a strict background check. Volunteers are required to be members of the church (or required to serve with a member) before they can serve in the children’s area.

Where do I go?

If you are joining us for small group bible study at 9:15 AM, park wherever you’d like and come to the covered drive through area. There will be someone there to meet you and escort to the class you’d like to attend.

If you are joining us for worship at 10:30 AM, park wherever you’d like and walk into the front of the sanctuary. This brings immediately into the worship area.

What should I wear?

At FBC Moreland we welcome you as you are. You will see some people in suits and ties, you will see some folks in jeans and t-shirt, and in the summer, you may even see some shorts. We have no expectations for attire.

What should I expect from the service?

We are a conservative Southern Baptist Church. We sing a God exalting mix of contemporary praise songs along with traditional music. We usually worship for 20 – 25 minutes. Our pastor usually preaches an expository sermon which will equip you in following Jesus. Sermons usually last about 35-40 minutes each Sunday. Our services typically last about 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes.
